After you order your Primordial Color Ritual, you’ll receive an email with five questions and instructions for submitting three photos in natural lighting. Using your responses, we'll develop a custom shade tailored to your complexion and preferences.

Your shade is then formulated by hand, your name is engraved on the tube, and your personal formula is kept for future reorders.

Please allow 2–3 weeks from the time we receive your photos and answers for your color ritual to arrive.

Primordial doesn't offer a shade menu. Each color is formulated individually, based on your complexion and preferences.

Because each color is custom-formulated for you, we're unable to accept returns. If you have any concerns after your color arrives, please reach out. We're here to help.

Your personal formula is kept for you, so your color can be recreated whenever you're ready to reorder.

Your lipstick is best used within one year of its formulation date. Each one is made to order, and the date on your box serves as your reference.

Yes. Your original tube can be refilled with your personal formula.
